Great value and performance!
Ideal kitchen scale for my sourdough journey! It’s small, light in weight, thin and accurate. Easy to store. The batteries lasted 2 yrs…. And love the automatic off feature to it ! 10/10 recommend. Great value!

Works great and looks great
The item is really good. I’ve been using it to weigh my food, especially with the ounces option and it was easy to use. And it looks great.

Why didn’t I buy this sooner?
This is an excellent little scale. I had another scale that was a little bigger and it accidentally fell on the floor. It was damaged but still worked so I kept using it. I finally decided to get a replacement and tried this little gem. It is small enough to sit on my counter without my husband complaining that it’s clutter. It easily switches between grams, ounces, ml etc. it tares quickly so I can track items as I add the to a bowl. The display is very easy to read and Measurements are extremely accurate. I already had the app because I have an etekcity smart scale (which is also great).

Great Scale, App Could Be Better
This is a great kitchen scale and it works exactly as expected. It’s accurate, easy to use, and connects to the app without any issues. The only thing I don’t love is the app itself. It’s just not as tracking friendly as MyFitnessPal, especially when it comes to searching for items. If the search function was as good as MyFitnessPal, it would honestly be perfect. Overall though, the scale itself is excellent and I would still recommend it.

Nice scale.
Nice little scale. Works fine. Easy to operate. Great value, presuming it lasts (have only had this item for three weeks, but have no reason to think it won’t last for years).

Nice little food scale.
I am enjoying this scale. It isn’t totally accurate, as the same thing can be said to be a gram or so different within a few minutes. But the differences are not at all worrisome. If you are worried about a gram either way, this isn’t the right sort of scale for you. For cooking, though, this is wonderful. I have used it particularly to weigh the various things I put in my morning cereal bowl, so that the concoction is more or less the same every morning and is reasonably in line with what the box says is one serving. Since my cereal bowls are large, it is all too easy to pour far too much into the bowl if you don’t weigh or measure the ingredients.Beyond simple weighing, probably the most useful feature for me is the Zero button. You can put an empty bowl on the scale, zero it out, and then easily get the weight of what you put into the bowl. The scale ignores the weight of the bowl itself. As you put the ingredients into the bowl, you can zero it out after each one, to get the weight of each ingredient separately, without any arithmetic. This feature is especially welcome first thing in the morning, when I am too sleepy to do the most elementary calculations correctly. It is also helpful to be able to weigh portions as you divide up meat or something else, such as a big bowl of salad, into single servings. Since I live alone and often need to do this, something to allow me to make the servings equal is invaluable.Of course, the scale is also useful for non-cooking tasks, when you need to know the weight of something small. For instance, are you sure that envelope you are putting in the mail is really under an ounce? Put it on the scale to be sure how much postage you need. (Changing from one unit of measurement to another is just a matter of touching a button, in this case perhaps several times, as the function circles through the various measures available, rather than jumping directly to the one you want.)Turning on or off is a matter of touching a button (no need to press; just touch). Operation is quick – most functions are virtually instantaneous. The exception is that the unit “thinks” a bit when weighing. The weight changes a little over a few seconds, so waiting until it stabilizes instead of taking the first weight displayed is a good idea, if you are looking for an accurate result. The change isn’t large, however, so if getting the most accurate possible weight is not important to you, there is no strong reason not to take the first displayed weight. Just know that what displays in the first second is probably slightly off.Charging, which I did need to do after a few months, is much quicker than I expected.. I put it on the charger, thinking that it would take hours, but it charged in much less. I didn’t note the exact time, so I can’t say just how long it took, but I remember being quite surprised at how fast it was.Overall, I am more than pleased. I hope the unit continues to function so well.

Good value, nice little scale.
Should have bought sooner. Works perfectly and does make a difference in measuring and being more precise with you cooking. Not bulking, takes up very little space. Not sure why you would need a more expensive brand.

Accurate, Sleek, Long Battery Life — Slightly Delicate
Overall, this scale performs very well. Accuracy has been excellent, even with small quantities above 2 grams. For cooking and meal prep, it has been consistent and reliable. It charges via USB-C, which is a big plus. I have used it for over a month, about 2–3 times per week, and have only needed to charge it once. Battery life has been impressive so far.The tare function is something I use almost every time, and it works quickly and without any issues. The controls are intuitive, and the display is clear and easy to read from different angles. It is also stable when using larger containers, which is important when weighing bowls or meal prep containers. The surface handles light water splashes without problems and is easy to wipe clean. One small drawback (especially from a Latin American perspective) is the unit display format. It shows pounds with the remaining weight in grams. Personally, I would prefer options like 1.5 lb, 1 lb + X grams, or full ounce-based readings. Not a dealbreaker, but something to keep in mind.In terms of design, it looks premium and modern in the kitchen. It takes up very little space and has a clean, refined finish. However, it does feel somewhat delicate—especially the top surface. It gives the impression that a hard drop could damage it, unlike more rugged plastic models.Overall, it’s precise, compact, elegant, easy to clean, and efficient. As long as it’s handled with care, it’s an excellent kitchen tool.

Lacks simple fruits
I already have a scale and a free app that do 99% of what this scale and app do.The free app allows me to choose the date, meal type, scan barcodes, images, type meal names, etc and it’ll give me a list of matching items with different flavors(small vs large, lemon pepper vs traditional, tec) and I’ll choose the one matching my food the most, then weight my food to my old scale and update the weight of the chosen food in the app and get the updated kcal and nutrients for the quantity of food I’m about to eat.The new scale right here helps me skip the step where I have to update the weight of my food because the new scale sends the weight data to the VeSync app and all I do is save the data. There are 3 things that don’t make it worth buying this scale if you already have a scale.1. The VeSync app data is very small compared to the free app that I was using before buying this scale. The truth is that my free app is actually not 100% free. It has a subscription that gives the option to edit/update my logs (VeSync edit/update is free). The free app can easily any find food type from any picture of good I take (at least for all the foods that I’ve been using it with) and estimate the kcal and nutrients for the food. The VeSync couldn’t find a simple melon even though I scanned it, took a picture of it, searched the name in the VeSync app database. They might add it in the future but for now, it’s not there.2. The timeout of this scale is 2 minutes max. I find it short and annoying when I need to enter data manually and then realize that the scale turned off and I must find another food container as the one holding the food on the scaler, get its empty container’s weight and then put my food again in the empty container, then weight my food+container, and then subtract the empty container’s weight from the total weight. This all happens because once the scale turns off before you manually put data in the VeSync app, you cannot immediately get the previous weight anymore since that was a weight obtained by putting the container on the scale, zero out the scale to remove the container’s weight, then add the food in the container. It’s also impossible to automatically populate your custom food entry with the scale weight. The scale won’t transfer automatically the weight of my melon to the custom melon food that I logged in manually. What that means is if you can’t find a melon in the list of food in the app, you must enter the weight of the melon manually everytime you measure the weight of a melon. As an example, with chicken drumsticks, the app will identify the food and everytime I weight a different quantity of drumsticks, the weights get transferred to the app automatically. I don’t have to worry about the scale turning off while I’m typing a food log in the app like I have to do with a melon.3. You cannot find totals per nutrients or per meal type (total kcal for lunch, or dinner…). You can only find the total kcal per day.If you don’t have a scale, then I can recommend this scale for you. But those who already own a scale, you can still buy it like me and if you can’t find some food, then use one of those popular apps out there with free barcode, image scanning to get the kcal and nutrients quantities in the food you’re weight. For android phones users, Google Lens can also scan food/meal and give you the info on your food but it lacks the design of a note app made for logging your data. So you won’t be able to log your data in Google Lens.
