Overall a pretty good Cool Mister
The DREO Cool Mist Ultrasonic Humidifiers with 30Hr Runtime, Top Fill 3L Tank, Easy Clean, Humidity Sensor, Night Light for Baby, Nursery, 360° Nozzle for Plants and Home:I liked the size (3L) with the small-ish footprint. The features I most liked were auto-shutoff, ability to set the level of humidity I wanted, super quiet (had to look at it to see if it was even on!). It was easy to handle, to clean, to use. Puts out a lot of mist even at the low & medium settings. The display was bright enough to see easily, and the quality/durability seemed at the higher end of the scale. The humidity sensor on the display was a lot higher than my humidity detector across the room (which increased by about 5%), after running for about 6-8 hours, but that could be due to variables like air flow throughout a partially-open layout in my house. It did not leak.I ended up returning it only because I decided to go with a warm+cool mist humidifier instead.

Works great
This machine is quiet, easy to operate, and works great. The humidity sensor seems to be accurate according to our portable gauge. I love how the colors change according to comfort level. It’s light and easy to refill. We move it from bedroom to living room and are impressed that it does work well for larger areas. Mist output is excellent and the design makes it easy to clean, although the instructions do warn about mold etc if it’s not cleaned regularly, which stressed me out cuz who needs another thing to clean?? I’ve used it several weeks and just wiped out the bottom area so I don’t think you have to go crazy, just keep an eye on it and do a full sanitize as often as you can. It’s helped my throat dryness and post-nasal drip tremendously at night time. I definitely notice a difference. I have not had any white dust with our well water that is highly filtered and softened. Good value and quality.

Great Humidifier – Works Great and Does the Job
This humidifier was a great buy!!! It runs whisper quiet. It has 3 vapor discharge rates: low, medium, high. I use the medium rate which provides a full night of humidity control. I bought it to alleviate runny nose and sinus congestion during winter nights while asleep. It has greatly improved how my sinuses feel after waking up. It needs about 2/3 of a gallon for roughly 8 hours of use. It’s recommended to use distilled water to prevent sediment buildup, which could cause frequent downtime and cleanouts. The only thing I don’t like is the feature where the reservoir lights up with 3 colors that indicate, at a glance, the humidity in the room. I want a dark room when I’m sleeping. However, that feature can be turned off.Getting to know the humidifier and all its features will take some time; the settings are not obvious. I strongly recommend reading the operator’s instructions and playing around with the settings and controls before routinely using the device. It’s nice to know that the humidifier will turn off automatically with a time setting or if it runs out of water. In summary, this is one of the best devices I’ve received from Amazon

It’s amazing ! But has 1 small annoying issue.
The media could not be loaded.
This is probably one of the best humidifiers I’ve ever seen and used! It’s definitely one of the most unique and in my opinion, coolest looking one. I like how it looks unique and almost alien tech-y. As it’s a dome and basically has a dark “glass” sort of look to it with those cool lights.By the way ! The lights are not changeable. The lights change based on how humid the room is based on what it detects. It only changes from light green to green to blue I think.I got this with one of the sales for about $34 and if I’m being honest, this is worth every penny. It exceeds in every way and is definitely worth your money. It’s very easy to use, all you have to do connect it to electricity, take the lid off and pour water in, click it on and it basically automatically runs based on how much humidity you want. It’s extremely quiet, you can barely notice it. But I like to have it by my bed side and I sort of treat it like a white noise machine for myself. It’s not irritating at all, it’s almost soothing in a way hearing little bits of water pouring in itself sometimes.Whenever I pour water in, I’ve never noticed any leakage or anything wrong. It seems to be flawless and doesn’t leak at all. Even when switching the water.I’m not sure how long it will last. Sine I’ve just got it. I’m hoping it lasts for years but I’ll have to update the review if it doesn’t. So far, it feels like it’s built really well and is very user friendly, which is very easy to figure out.BUT – I will have to point out one thing I don’t like. You can’t disconnect the wire from the base/humidifier. (Which kind of seems misleading when the picture shows the humidity one its own with now wires). Now I didn’t expect it to be battery powered or able to work without a wire. But I thought you could disconnect the wire from the base. Most humidifiers I have own previously has allowed me to disconnect the wire from the base so that I can just take the base itself to clean out. This gets really annoying and kind of a hassle to deal with, when you have it placed somewhere where you have the wire hidden behind furniture or a table etc.I personally have it on a night stand where I have a mini desk shelf and organizer. So it gets annoying having to kneel/duck under my night stand or move it slowly and disconnect the wire from the wall, all that just to clean bowl.I wish they made the wire built in a way where it can disconnect and connect to the humidifier. That way I wouldn’t have to do any kneeling or moving things around to reach the outlet. Plus the wire gets caught or jangle around when you start to pull the humidifier which is annoying. Now I’m a young person, so I can do as much kneeling. But if you’re an older person, or someone who has a bad back, this would get VERY tiresome and start to become pointless to have. Also it’s rare to have an outlet just out in the very open especially in a bedroom. It’s made aesthetically and looks beautiful so it’s definitely made for a nightstand or table. So they should’ve thought about the wire issue and make the wire dis-connectable. For user ease. That being said I only have it 4/5 just because of the wire issue.

great product
Like a lot of other people I only do reviews occasionally. I am very impressed with this item. With the recent cold snap my whole house humidifier was not keeping up. This Dreo did the job. It raised the humidity about 10 points in a large room. It was easy to set up, no leaks, and it runs cold. It easy easy to refill and shuts off automatically when empty. All in all well worth the cost.

Quiet, great output
Very pleased with this humidifier after the first use. It is very quiet, has great output, has some handy features – but also simple to use. It’s as easy as turning it on and pressing one button to start humidifying your space. The capacity is good. Last night it ran for nearly 12 hours on high.I appreciate the option to use essential oils in the designated compartment though I didn’t use any last night. If you’re a newer user to humidifiers I recommend using bacteriostat to inhibit bacteria growth and slime. It works in all humidifiers as far as I know. One bottle is inexpensive and lasts a long time. Available at pharmacies, big box stores, and I would assume Amazon.

Very impressive humidifier.
The humidifier was packaged perfectly, well protected. The humidifier is very well made from first impression, solid not cheap feeling, and it is very good looking. I like the shape and size of it, the light is a very nice touch, and the humidity level display is very good, and the different settings is awesome too. And it is extremely quiet, I can’t tell if it is on some times. The amount of mist it puts out is very good compared to another unit i have, this is way better. I wish i got this one before I bought the other one. I highly recommend this humidifier, and will definitely buy another one in near future . Thank you DREO.

Quiet and dependable humidier
Great for bedrooms. Easy to set and refill. Excellent stream that can be changed to different levels. Very quiet, night light can be set to on or off. The timer is a little tricky to set. All in all I would recommend this product.

Has the same “internals” as the bigger 6L model but has other issues
I have both the bigger 6L and this 3L humidifiers and I have a lot to say, but for those that just want the quick review then here it is. The smaller 3L is absolutely worth it especially on sale for nearly half the price of the 6L but the hygrometer (humidity sensor) is worse and inaccurate and the very small humidifier opening on the lid limits the potential since it has the same ‘guts’ as the bigger model. Now for those that want all the details please keep reading. I have included pictures for everything I will reference. As you can see, the 6L model is quite a bit bigger since it’s a lot wider, but the color matches beautifully (in my case I got the black). However, once I turned on the 3L model I was left quite a bit disappointed with 2 things.1. Just like another user commented, the hygrometer (humidity sensor) is inaccurate and off by 10%! You can see my Therm Pro (one of the best hygrometers on the market) shows 46% while the humidifier showed 56%, and no, it never ‘adjusted’ or fixed itself. The bigger 6L model has a very accurate hygrometer and nearly matches the Therm Pro. Also the bigger model updates the humidity very frequently on the fly, whereas the smaller 3L model has a very delayed hygrometer meaning it doesn’t update as frequently. This tells me that the hygrometer on the 3L is much cheaper and clearly more cost effective for Dreo, but it’s the MAIN selling pint of a humidifier like this. The GOOD news is that we know it’s off by +10% so the automatic feature still works. If you want 50% humidity then simply set the humidifier to 60%. So not a big problem but a little disappointing none the less.2. Now for the biggest issue in my opinion. The 3L model has disappointing mist output compared to the 6L model. “DUH! Because it’s smaller!” you say?Well, if you open them both up and look at the “guts” as you see in one of my pictures, they have the SAME EXACT humidity mechanism. The coin shaped object is the “atomizer” which is the thing that makes the humidity particles (mist). They are the exact same size. Even the “float” which regulates how much water it gets from the water tank is the same. This means that the smaller one should be able to produce just as much mist as the bigger model. The LIMITING factor is the very small opening on the lid. (the part that sprays the atomized water)It’s very very small. If you remove the lid entirely you will see just how much mist this device can actually put out! But it won’t work that way because it will throw off the humidity sensor and make it useless. My solution was to simply get a drill bit of the same size as the opening and widened it both ways to make it much longer. The end result is FANTASTIC! I get WAY more output now. And no, it did not affect how far it throws the atomized water at all. I just get WAY more now, which is the entire point of a humidifier, to humidify the air!I posted a picture of the “mist stream” output before and after I performed the modification on the lid, and a picture of the widened hole on my lid now. By the way that small circle part of the lid just pops right off, makes it really easy to do this mod and just pop it back in.I am really not sure why Dreo is limiting the output of the smaller 3L humidifier this way. Perhaps is so people don’t complain that the water tank empties so fast, or perhaps as a selling point to sell more of the bigger models since they can advertise more output on paper even though this smaller one is capable of doing the same.Anyway, I’m only knocking it down a star for both of those issues I stated. If you can get this smaller 3L model on sale for around $30 then I think it’s ABSOLUTELY still worth it compared to the 6L which is double the price. I love both of my humidifiers, but is double the water capacity and an accurate hygrometer worth double the price? That’s up to you.Hopefully this will help anyone decide between this and the 6L model and/or help them get the full potential out of this humidifier with the simple mod I showed. Enjoy!

🪴 Great option for plant owners getting into intermediate plant parenting!
The media could not be loaded.
I’m a collector of high-humidity tropicals (Calatheas, Monsteras, and Philodendrons) that require a consistent humidity level of 50%+. I was tired of refilling two or three small units daily, so I upgraded to this larger model to centralize my “plant zone” humidity. Some of the things I really like about this particular humidifier:The humidity sensor: The built-in display is a game-changer. It allows me to monitor the room’s levels at a glance without needing a separate hygrometer. (Note, the screen didn’t flicker! It’s just one of those funny things that doesn’t like to be captured on video)Adjustable mist volume: The plume is impressively strong with three settings (see the end of my video!) Unlike cheaper diffusers I’ve used, the mist is fine enough that it doesn’t leave a ring or puddles on the floor/furniture.Adjustable mist direction: another thing. you’ll see at the end of my video! I love that there is a 365 degree swivel to direct the mist. This is truly the biggest game changer for me, since I can swivel the mist towards the plants that need the most attention, or even just away from falling directly back down onto the machine like others I’ve used.Auto-Shutoff: since you can set your ideal humidity, there is also a function to turn off when the humidity has been reached. I’m not gonna lie, I haven’t been able to reach my target just yet with the freezing temperatures, but I do like that this puppy will keep pushing until it gets there or runs out of water versus others that just shut off after a certain period of time, even if aren’t at ideal humidity.Easy to refill: You can either carry the tank to the tap (it’s easy to grip) or simply lift the lid and pour water directly in. I’ve done both and have found this incredibly convenient. There are also arrows that show exactly where to align the tank. If you do take it off so I love that there isn’t so much aimless wiggling and spillage to worry about. Some other stuff: it did come with a little brush to clean it and little pads for an aromatherapy if that’s your jam! It also came with a little quick start handout on top of the user guide to help you triage any little errors you may run into while getting started. I haven’t needed those but good to know for others I’m sure!Things that are “eh.”The “Cold” Factor: This is a true cool-mist humidifier. It puts out such a high volume of cold mist that it can actually drop the ambient temperature of the room. If your tropicals are sensitive to cold, you’ll need to be strategic about placement so they don’t get “chilled.” I wish it had a “warm mist” toggle for the winter months, but for the price I can’t complain.Water Consumption: Because the output is so powerful, it goes through the reservoir faster than I expected (although you can always adjust your mist volume down), so I do find myself refilling the reservoir multiple times a day.… but that’s it. It’s a great machine. At the ~30-35 price point, this is definitely the best option I’ve tried for a ~15 plant pod! I actually ended up buying a second one for another group, and look forward to seeing how this performs up in the not-so-cold-an dry season!
